BESIDES THAT, HE DOESN’T EVEN LIVE HERE!

Newspaper Article - Quoted from page 6 of the Evanston Review an Evanston Illinois newspaper on 5/7/1981. A 31 year-old Evanston man was arrested by police Saturday and charged with one count of taking indecent liberties with a child. Police arrested Richard Joseph Woldow, of 3036 Hartzell Street after the child, an 11-year-old girl, reported the incident to her mother, Lt. Kip MacMillan said Tuesday night. The girl's mother notified police who arrested Woldow after a brief investigation, MacMillan said. According to MacMillan, the suspect allegedly approached the 11-year old girl and a friend at the Willard School playground, 2700 Hurd Av, earlier Saturday. MacMillan said the suspect then took the two girls to his home where the offense allegedly took place. Woldow is scheduled to appear in circuit court June 1. – Bob Seldenberg

Official Record of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Ill. – Case # 81 I 20026801 - 12/11/81 – Defendant Richard Woldow plead guilty for “contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor” and was given a one year misdemeanor on probation. Quote “went up to the victim and pulled her underwear down, put his hand between victims legs and touched her privates with his fingers for approximately 5 seconds. Subject told the other victim that she didn’t have much hair between her legs. He then offered them orange juice and cookies”.

9/1/78 12:55 am. Victim Grandy Prowler complaint. Saw Mr. Woldow on two consecutive evenings in his backyard. Disorderly conduct/trespass

7/7/79 10:05 pm - Victim David H. age 13. “Mr. Woldow looked through the window in the rear of house.”

2/19/80 10:45 pm. Prowler victim William L. no age listed. Observed the subject looking in his window possibly at expensive stereo equipment. At each ground level window were found size 10 – 11 shoeprints facing in towards living area.

6/24/80 12:30 am - Victim Laura W., age 17. Victim stated that “she heard what sounded like footsteps outside her bedroom window”.

6/27/80 11:25 pm - Victim Kate C., age 28. Complainant was in the bathroom brushing her teeth and heard a noise at the window and upon looking to see what caused the noise, saw a person looking trough the shutters. The offender fled west into the alley.

7/20/80 10:20 pm - Victim Karyl M. in her twenties. “ Was in the bedroom, heard a noise by the window. Upon looking out, she saw someone looking in..”

10/23/80 11:10 pm - Victim Laura W. She walked in her bedroom and observed (Mr. Woldow) staring into her bedroom window. She then yelled and the offender fled.

12/8/80 11:45 pm. – Victim - Rev. Joan M., in her thirties. “…offender stood outside victim’s window for several minutes looking into the house…”.1/9/81 (Mr. Woldow) plead guilty to disorderly conduct

12/23/80. (Mr. Woldow) admitted to the charge of “peeping tom/disorderly conduct” in the above listed cases.
